Valorant’s release year saw the game launch some swoon-worthy Gun Bundles, one of which is the BlastX Valorant Gun Bundle. It was released on December 23, 2020, yet it continues to be a favorite of many within the Valorant Community. The idea behind the bundle’s creation is interesting because, like other Valorant skins, it too offers something unique.

A majority of the Valorant playerbase includes 90s kids that are inspired by the game of their times. Hence, the game developers and creative department aspired to bring something nostalgic yet fun to the Valorant community.
The Valorant Premium Content team delivered their appreciation to the community for their response regarding cosmetic purchases via a tweet. Following it, the Valorantleaks reported a new bundle pending its release, featuring the BlastX items, which was received with enthusiasm.
It’s unknown whether a BlastX 2.0 Bundle is in the making, but fans are eager to receive something like it again.
Valorant Bundle Upgrades
BlastX sound effects and the visual animations, including the finisher, were a giant leap for the Creative and Developer team. But that’s not everything that the BlastX skins deliver. The additional cosmetic customizations to original Valorant guns include the following:
- Second Level BlastX Weapon Upgrade unlocks:
- Muzzle Flash Animation.
- Bullet Tracers replaced with little darts that stick to the wall.
- Third Level BlastX Weapon Upgrade unlocks a new Equip animation.
- Fourth Level BlastX Weapon Upgrade unlocks a Finisher:
- The enemy gets wrapped in a Giant Present box.

Valorant Community Response
Fans of the Elderflame bundle have also admired the launch of the Blastx bundle. However, some Redditors did demand to nerf it. It was likely based on the rumours that BlastX nerfs should be implemented to remove its aimbot abilities. But again, those were only rumours baked because of its Nerf gun appearance.
